The traditional field measurement method with sensors and sampling tubes.

This traditional measurement method is still commonly used. We work almost exclusively with Dräger equipment and sampling tubes, because Dräger, from a qualitative point of view, provides the best measurement instruments. Dräger has been manufacturing sampling tubes for numerous applications for more than 100 years.

It is generally known that measuring instruments can be cross-sensitive. The cross-sensitivity (false positive indication because of related substances) is a factor that should be taken into account with every measurement.

Cross-sensitivity is not brand-specific. We have tested almost all standard or popular brands of sampling tubes in the course of the years and we have observed cross-sensitive reactions with all brands. We do a lot of research on cross-sensitive reactions and Dräger gives us good support in this respect. At our request Dräger regularly conducts control measurements in their laboratory in Lübeck..
